Writing

Writing begins in Junior Kindergarten One, with the practice of many fine motor skills to exercise the hand in practice for writing letters. Children learn writing skills through cefa writing games, and begin tracing their first curves and lines as a primary step towards letter formation.

By Junior Kindergarten two, children can write their names and the letters of the alphabet, and have acquired most of the fine motor skills needed to begin letter formation.

They write stories in their journals, and continue working with cefa games to strengthen their writing skills.

In Junior Kindergarten Three, children for the most part can write words and sentences by themselves, form letters proportionately and have surpassed kindergarten requirements.
