Science

Science is a very exciting part of our curriculum! Children conduct experiments, hypothesize, draw conclusions, test, discriminate their own errors and re-evaluate their results. They learn to document their scientific process with photos, drawings, notes and reports, they begin relating different elements together, and make new sense of the world they live in.

Our students learn about planets and our galaxy, animals, plants, recycling, dinosaurs, the environment, food groups, air and water, and (an all-time favorite) conduct experiments. They make air balloons that really work, volcanoes, magic potions, and anything they can imagine. They are sure to bring their ideas to our teachers for research!

We find our science program gives our students confidence in their abilities, great work discipline, and the desire to figure our how our universe works.
